I am a high school English teacher, husband, and father of two. In the year 2001, I earned a PhD in philosophy, let go of my plans to become a college professor, became a father of twins, and got a job as a high school teacher–in that order.  There was more before and has been more since, but that year says enough about me for an “about” page.
